Welcome to Academy at the Farm's primary program, where Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students begin a journey of discovery, exploration and life-long learning.  

 

The focus of the primary team is to provide students with the tools necessary to build a solid literacy foundation that is directly linked to content-rich curriculum and which is interwoven across all subject areas.  Students are able to make important connections in language arts, math, science and social studies that bring greater meaning and deeper understanding to their learning.  Every classroom is equipped with an extensive library and advanced technology, providing additional opportunities for students to expand their knowledge, engage in self-discovery and explore the world around them.   

 

Unique to Academy at the Farm is a paraprofessional in every classroom to support the teacher and students.  Additionally, every grade level has an instructional assistant who is State of Florida certified teacher to work with students needing supplementary support or enrichment.

 

Academy at the Farm's Six Character Traits is an important and integral part of who we are and what we do.  We practice and live these traits every day, and in doing so, believe our school, students and families, and our entire community will benefit immeasurably.
